<p>Okay, so you have tried everything under the sun to lose weight. But, some how, its just not happening. Your not getting the results you are after. That stubborn belly fat is not going anywhere. Well, I have some unconventional ideas for you to help you lose weight.</p>
<p>They may seem weird, but trust me, they work.</p>
<p><strong>Drink grape-fruit juice:</strong> You need to consume about 1 glass of grapefruit juice or eat one grapefruit everyday somewhere between breakfast and lunch. Why? Well grape fruit contains some plant chemicals that have a very good effect on your blood sugar levels. They help you keep control over your insulin and thus help get rid of the belly fat.</p>
<p><strong>Self Hypnosis:</strong> This is a odd one. But it is known to show results. Basically, it is for people who have a hard time sticking to their diet and exercise program. You direct access to your subconscious mind and program it to do all the things that you need to do to reach your weight loss goals. <p><strong>Eating Eggs For Breakfast:</strong> It has been proved though studies that eggs are the perfect breakfast even from the losing weight point of view. They keep you more full throughout the day and prevent you from overeating at luch-time. This itself has a huge effect on the total calories you intake.</p>
<p><strong>Honey &amp; Cinnamon:</strong> The method to use is, mix one teaspoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon and add it to boiling water. Consume two cups of this twice a day. Cinnamon, like grape fruit juice has a very nice effect on reducing blood sugar levels and kelps keep a check on insulin levels in the body. Doing this aloe could help you lose an extra 5 pounds a month.<br />

Drink Plenty Of Water:</strong> Studies have showed that people who consume 2 glasses of water 20 minutes before lunch, have a tendency to not over eat. They actually consume about 75 calories less on an average per meal. 75 calories does not seem like much, but it can add up over time.</p>
<p><strong>THE BIGGEST TIP:</strong> I have seem people do this all the time. They will work hard at the gym, follow a diet strictly for a few days and then treat themselves to a nice cake, brownie etc. That just nullifies all the effort you put in the last few days. If you have a tendency to do this, don&#8217;t. You are just wasting your time and effort. You will not get any results. Think about this, eating one brownie will nullify 1 hour on the treadmill. Now, do you want to eat a brownie any more?</p>

<p>Can you feel what many feel in trying to isolate and choose the top weight loss products that will deliver on their promises? It can be quiet a task zeroing on &#8220;the weight loss plan&#8221; when there are so many purporting to do just that with nothing to show for it. Don&#8217;t give up yet until you have read these tips which will at a glance make solid sense to you and you might even berate yourself for not knowing before now.</p>
<p>a.. Choose a program that encourages you to drink a lot of water. Doesn&#8217;t it go without saying that if you are going to remove something out of your body system that you should increase the supply of the one singular agent that carries waste products out of it? Water is the major element of living matter. The human body is really about 70% water. The living cells in the body consist of a mix of water, fats, carbohydrates, proteins, salts, and other such chemicals. Water helps in transporting, mixing, and breaking down these materials. Water also plays a key role in breaking down essential molecules of proteins and carbohydrates. So don&#8217;t touch any fat loss product or program that limits your water consumption; it just is not right.</p>
<p>a.. Run away from a plan that prescribes starvation as the way or one of the ways to achieve weight loss. One does not get fat because one ate so much but because one ate the wrong kind of edibles far more than the body can tolerate. But general or partial starvation from all types of food is not the remedy. Starvation is a condition brought about by lack of essential nutrients over a long period of time. If a person does not eat sufficient healthful food, body weight begins to decline rapidly. Not because the fat in the body is depleting but energy stored in fatty cells are being used up at first. Sooner the body sends signals to the cells to start conserving what they have because a famine is around the corner. This message will kick the fatty cells into an alarm mode to store whatever they receive and not give out. Vital organs, including the liver and intestines, may become smaller; the heart also becomes smaller and less effective, and blood pressure is reduced. We don&#8217;t want to cut off the nose to spite the face. A starvation program may well compound our health issues. A good program must appreciate consumption of appropriate food in both quantity and quality.</p>
<p>a.. A good weight loss program must be sensible in its promises. Fat builds up over time and the riddance of it must also take some time. The human body is not a toilet system which can be flushed out at the press of a button in a few seconds. If any program promises that you will lose 30pounds in a week, be careful. a.. Finally, any program that advises that you should skip breakfasts, whether in combination or standing alone is probably a scam. Pick something which will be natural as well as balanced. Extremes of any activity or indulgence will do you no good over the long haul. There are probably a few other factors; these are just a few key caveats; nevertheless it should send you in the right direction. I will recommend that you consult a doctor and do your own research before proceeding with any weight loss plan.</p>

<p>Much attention is given to losing weight with many techniques and approaches advocated. Why such an issue? The human body will gain weight when we consume more energy than we can expend. It&#8217;s a simple flow equation.</p>
<p>For most of human history the odds were heavily stacked against this flow ever being positive or sustainable. For our unfortunate ancestors, food, especially high energy food was generally scarce or took lots of energy and risk to hunt down, had to be shared widely across the tribe, or would be putrid or stolen in a couple of days. It made sense to totally gorge when food was on. Bodies that could accommodate the additional energy had better survival rates during the inevitable shortages that followed. Those whose appetites and stomachs adjusted to accommodate larger meals when available, shortened survival odds.</p>
<p>In more recent times human society, aided by labour saving devices of all sorts has tipped the battle for survival in our favour. The flow equation is now easily positive all the time for large numbers of people &#8211; especially in the west.</p>
<p>The human body however remains as adapted as ever for those periods of food shortage, except they mostly now don&#8217;t happen!</p>
<p>With all the food now so easily available, appetites expand with waistlines true to design. When we reduce the flow we immediately feel hungry. The body&#8217;s response from history is to attempt to maintain body size via increased appetite. Our brains complain &#8211; &#8220;just one more major food experience is normal &#8211; indulge and live!&#8221;. I understand that people who deliberately &#8220;supersize&#8221; experience greater difficulties in getting weight off than anticipated.</p>
<p>So what to do in the modern age when diets aren&#8217;t enforceable by &#8220;kind&#8221; mother nature?</p>
<p>Any strategy has to address the fundamental principal that energy expenditure should match consumption over an average term or we put on weight.</p>
<p>All weight loss techniques should involve a balanced diet to build strength and fitness in conjunction with a lifestyle that consumes energy productively. No high energy food for its own sake &#8211; we don&#8217;t need to stock up anymore.</p>
<p>There is no magic silver weight loss bullet to &#8220;melt the weight away&#8221; whilst you sit on the couch feeling optimistic!</p>
<p>Losing weight will take time. By way of example, the reality TV show &#8220;The Biggest Loser&#8221;, employed some of the most aggressive diet and exercise regimes to achieve extreme speed of weight reduction. I understand the best they achieved was a maximum weight loss of around 3kg/week. This would be considered unsustainable for all but the most obese.</p>
<p>A balanced diet and exercise regime can however be further assisted through other means. One of these is tea.</p>
<p>Many studies have been conducted in laboratories and on animals with consistent results that tea drinking can assist in reducing body weight and blood cholesterol level. The sort of results these studies report amount to less than 5% the weight reduction of an aggressive weight loss regime cited above. (1kg weight reduction in 6 weeks).</p>
<p>The major components responsible for the anti-obesity and hypolipidemic (lowering blood fat level) effects in teas include catechins, caffeine, and theanine. They reduce body weight through following mechanisms:</p>
<p>1) Down-regulation of fatty acid synthase gene (The gene responsible for fat forming enzyme production). 2) Stimulation of cell energy expenditure. 3) Reduce food intake and food efficiency. 4) Increase fat oxidation.</p>
<p>In Chinese herbal medicine, traditional teas are also combined with other herbs that have active weight reducing functions to maximize the result, for example Lotus leaf and Jiaogulan. This enables the weight loss goal to be targeted from various levels and angles, such as appetite, energy expenditure and fat absorption in the body.</p>

<p>Do you know of a diet that will let me lose weight quickly? I must lose weight fast in two weeks to look respectable in my bathing suit. I exhausted the day looking for a bathing suit that could fit. I ended up purchasing two bathing suits. I liked the way one of then looked on me, it made me seem to be slimmer. The other swim suit is aqua, black and white and was quite comfy but the black and yellow one nevertheless made me look better.</p>
<p>I bought new swim suits as my old ones can&#8217;t fit anymore. I tried them on and I looked like I was about to burst out of them. Disgusting! I want to lose weight quickly before I have to be dressed in the new ones. Yeah, they fit better than my old stuff but I still feel a bit uncomfortable that I&#8217;ve put on this much weight. I didn&#8217;t even become aware of it till I tried on my bathing suit last week. I was just inspecting if they were still OK for the coast trip at the end of the month. I want a diet plant that&#8217;s easy to follow but will make me lose weight quickly. It it will work I&#8217;ll do everything to finish off the diet.You know I in fact tried to cut down on my carb intake last week, when I found out I couldn&#8217;t fit in my older bathing suits. I get hungry quickly and eat a lot of carbs.</p>
<p>Doctors disclose it may be because of my blood sugar or something. Anyhow he didn&#8217;t say I was actually diabetic so I think it&#8217;s OK to go on a crash diet. Well, if we do discover a diet that says it can make me lose weight quickly, I&#8217;ll nevertheless check with my physician about it before I take the plunge. I&#8217;ll pick an easy quick diet so I don&#8217;t get tempted to break it. I&#8217;m setting my goal weight to 120 pounds.</p>
<p>There are plenty of them on the net. I can&#8217;t tell which diets are genuinely successful. We must find somebody who has actually tried one of them and succeeded. I feel it would help to read some reviews that have optimistic comments to find out which one works. We can pick the one with a lot of good comments. Course it&#8217;s fairly ok for some to get bad reviews but if they have more positive ones then they have to be OK..</p>
<p>You can try it with me if you as well want to lose weight quickly. The climate is warming up and I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ll be hitting the coast too pretty soon. There&#8217;s no harm in trying. I can&#8217;t do a great deal in two weeks anyway. You might be glad you did if we can find a diet that works at once. I&#8217;d favor the easiest diet I can find. You know I&#8217;m quite lazy when it comes to these things. I only ended up breaking the diet and giving in to the impulse to pig out. Complicated diets make me do that. That&#8217;s because of the food deprivation. I&#8217;d rather not skip my favorite food. So, I always dream about finishing the diet so I can eat my preferred food again. Of course my appetite and imagination gets the better of me and I never finish a diet. I think the best thing to do is go with a diet that will cause us lose weight quickly, so that we can shorten the misery of staying away from our favorite food. I guess I can stay with a diet plan that will just take a couple of weeks to finish. I believe a diet that will let me lose weight quickly is the most helpful for me.</p>

<p>Weight loss, when discussed in connection to a medical or physical subject, means the reduction in the total body mass due to some underlying medical reason or perhaps due to a conscious effort on the part of the individual. Weight loss could result from a reduction of body mass brought on by a loss of body fluids, fat deposits, adipose tissue, and even lean mass such as bone, tissue, tendon, or any other connective tissue and muscle mass. We shall discuss weight loss diet tips that most people who perceive a state of or in a state of obesity should keep in mind in their conscious effort to lose weight.</p>
<p>People take to weight loss programs to consciously lose body mass in an effort to change their appearance or to improve health and fitness, invariably both. Tow things play an important role in helping these individuals achieve their goal. One is a good weight loss diet and the other is a well planed exercise regime. We shall discuss the weight loss diet and especially weight loss diet tips in this article.</p>
<p>Weight loss begins to occur in the body when the system reaches what is generally looked upon as a state of negative energy levels. This means that the person is losing more energy than he or she is consuming through food and other nutrition supplements. It is when the body begins to use more energy through work and exercise than it is gaining through diet it will naturally begin to draw on its reserves such as fat deposits, bone tissue and muscle mass thus bringing about considerable loss in body mass.</p>
<p>To begin with we must first say something about a crash diet. This form of dieting is all about abstaining from any form of food and drink, with an exception to water, for a period of twelve hours. This does not work. The metabolism will realize this trick and will begin to draw energy from bone and muscle and will preserve fat deposits in a survival effort. Better than this will be to go on an intermittent diet, abstaining from food every alternate day and changing the type of food regularly to confuse the metabolism. This works well in a majority of individuals.</p>
<p>Begin by keeping a diet diary. Research by the American Journal for Preventive Medicine has shown that those who keep a journal of the food they eat daily lose twice as much fat as those who do not. The journal will show what hinders and what promotes weight loss.</p>
<p>Include low fat foods in your weight loss diet. Fat contains nine calories per gram of fat from carbs and proteins. But this does not mean one can eat an unlimited amount of fat free foods. Everything has to be done within limits. Eating very slowly also helps a lot when one is trying to lose weight.</p>
<p>There is logic behind this. People who eat fast tend to over eat. This is because the stomach takes at least 15 minutes to tell the brain that it is full. Eating slowly will give the brain enough time to get this signal and tell the person to stop eating. Where as if the person eats fast, the stomach will send the signal which will take fifteen to twenty minutes to reach the brain, in the meantime the individual has eaten three times more food. This extra food will end up as fat reserves in the body over time.</p>
<p>Drinking a lot of water will also help weight loss especially while eating. A large glass of water will fill a lot of space in the stomach and so the per son will feel full and stop eating. People who follow this as part of their eight loss program should eat small meals four times a day to keep the hunger pangs at bay.</p>
<p>Now while dieting to lose weight it is not wise to keep off fat completely. There is no doubt that fat has acquired a very bad reputation recently, however, it is important to include some fats in a weight loss diet. Switching over to vegetable oils for baking and olive oil for stove top cooking will go a long way in ones weight loss program. Avocado oil is perfect for salads, soups and more.</p>
<p>While nuts also had a bad rep when it came to weight loss it now turns out that the fat content in some nuts is good for the body. A few nuts amounting to a small fistful over a period of a day helps in staving off the hunger pangs between meals. Every time one feels like grabbing a bite to eat and should not be doing so should teach into their pocket and pull out a few nuts and pop them in.</p>
<p>These are very simple weight loss diet tips but they go a longer way than professional weight loss diet programs. You will lose fat and weight and will look and feel great too.</p>

When you miss breakfast you start to take in too many calories during the rest of the day because you are hungry. After breakfast drink water and take fiber tablets as this will keep you filling full. Drink at least eight glasses of water as this helps flush out fat. Here are three great tips to lose weight fast and easy!</p>
<p>1. Consuming the right fats will help you lose unwanted body fat. Eating unsaturated fats will increase your bodies fat burning system to work at its best. If you want to lose weight quickly you must not take good FATS off your diet menu. Unsaturated fats or healthy fats include monounsaturated fats. nuts, avocados, olives, canola and peanut oil contain monounsaturated fats. Polyunsaturated fats are good and can be found in corn, safflower, sesame, canola, nuts, seeds and sun flower oil.</p>
<p>2. To lose weight fast you must not only eat the correct foods, you must have the right kind of exercise program to compliment what you are doing. You should focus on cardio exercise to get the greatest amount of weight loss and body fat reduction. Great exercise options are swimming, bicycling, tennis basketball. These options will speed up your metabolism and strip off fat quickly when done on a consistent basis.</p>
<p>3 Work the whole body upper and lower. This will get your whole body burning fat and losing weight. Do not depend on ab belts or diet pills as most are not nearly effective as cardio. This will save you thousands of dollars as well. Don&#8217;t go for gimmicks. Goods things just take time. Don&#8217;t forget to do light weight training, this keeps your body burning fat many hours after your work out is done.</p>

<p>Losing weight can be tough. Many people who manage to lose weight will eventually gain it back again. Before you give up on your goals to achieve lasting weight loss, you may want to consider that being overweight could greatly increase your risk of experiencing serious health problems such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer or stroke. By maintaining a healthy weight, you can help reduce these health risks along with boosting your energy levels and helping you to look and feel your best!</p>
<p>Below are six healthy weight loss tips to help you lose your extra weight and keep it off!</p>
<p>1. Set reasonable goals:</p>
<p>Do not expect to lose twenty pounds your first week. Break down your long term weight loss goals into small weekly goals. Be specific on what steps you are willing to take to achieve your goals to lose weight. Then write them down!</p>
<p>2. Keep a log:</p>
<p>Statistics show that by writing down your weight loss goals, you will be more likely to achieve them. This will also help you track of your weekly progress so you can celebrate each small success and help you obtain your long term goal. It also helps to record what you are feeling when you experience food cravings. Are you stressed or feeling lonely or fatigued? Try to find healthy substitutes for that donut or double fudge brownie. Have a small hand full of nuts or a piece of fruit, or make a fruit smoothie.</p>
<p>3. Get moving:</p>
<p>Exercise will help you increase your metabolism and is the fastest way to achieve weight loss. Exercising is simply getting your body moving with something you enjoy. The easiest and best form of exercise is to simply walk. Take a stroll during your lunch break. Walk up the stairs instead of taking the elevator. Park your car away from your work or the stores entrance so you will have to walk further. Walk instead of driving or taking the bus or subway or get off a stop early. By staying active, you will burn more calories all through your day making weight loss easier. Vigorous exercise has also been shown to be effective toward helping you reduce unhealthy food cravings. If you make it your goal to get at least three hours of exercise or physical activity a week, you should be able to lose weight, if you also incorporate a healthy eating plan.</p>
<p>4. Make healthy food choices:</p>
<p>You should not think of this as a diet plan, but rather a healthy eating plan. Fill your plate half full with healthy fruits and vegetables. This should be the focal point of your meal. Cooked vegetables are fine, but raw is even better. Add smaller portions of meat and starchy foods. Rice, pastas and bread turn into sugar in your body. Limit yourself to smaller portions of these and choose whole grains. Stay away from processed foods and foods additives. This is very important because additives such as high fructose corn syrup will sabotage your weight loss efforts.</p>
<p>5. Invite a friend-Stay accountable:</p>
<p>When you participate with a friend, you will be less likely to make excuses for skipping your workout. Knowing you will be joining someone at a certain time can make a huge difference in your commitment level. Do something fun that you both enjoy. Join a walking club, yoga class or exercise group. If you do experience small setbacks, do not get discouraged. Just start again, keep moving toward your goals and do not give up. You will soon be losing those extra pounds and feeling better than ever about your body and your self esteem.</p>
<p>6. Celebrate each success:</p>
<p>Each time you achieve a goal, give yourself a small reward. For example, I like to put a dollar in a jar each day that I stick to my healthy eating plan and exercise plan. By the end of the month, I have enough money saved to buy a new pair of jeans (in the next smaller size). Yippee!</p>
